Our History:
Headliners was previously owned and operated by barber, Willie Brennon, who opened for business in 1962. Many referred to Mr. Brennon and his shop "vital threads in the community's fabric." This was confirmed by the words painted on the window, "40 plus years of community service." The services provided by this shop were very unique and extended far beyond the list of barbershop offerings. Mr. Brennon was known to give free haircuts to men in the hospital and to utilize the shop to host informational sessions or support groups on men's topics such as prostate cancer. The shop was opened early on mornings to accommodate business men before they went to work. This shop was regarded as the only "Family Barber Shop" in Englewood because profanity was not tolerated in Mr. Brennon's shop.
The legacy that was created by Willie Brennon is continued by Headliners of Englewood. Headliners is a return to traditional barbering, offering the best men's haircuts and hot lather face shaves.
